VICKERS-WARNICK LAUNCHES BRIDGING THE G.A.A.P.
A COMPLETE SOLUTION TO MACHINE GUARDING

Vickers-Warnick is pleased to announce the launch of Bridging the G.A..A.P. (Guarding and Assessment Process) which provides Ontario manufacturers a complete solution for machine guarding and machine safety applications.

The Vickers-Warnick G.A.A.P. program introduces a simple 7 step system which guides manufacturers through the process of both increasing productivity while ensuring the safety of their employees.

Matt Pickfield, CEO of Vickers-Warnick is very excited about the new program and stated, "We have been serving the machine guarding and safety needs of Ontario manufacturers for many years and encountered numerous customers who were unfamiliar with current legislation and codes or face time constraints making it difficult for them to manage their own machine guarding applications. The G.A.A.P program has been designed to not only help customers identify deficiencies in the guarding and safety of their equipment but also suggest solutions. John Murphy, Fluid Power and Safety Manager has been our principal speaker over the last six years at the Vickers-Warnick complimentary 'Essentials in Machine Guarding Seminars' and now 'Risk Assessment Seminars', he has also been a guest speaker for the National Safety Council and recently presented 'Safety Does Not End At The Wire' at the CSA/IAPA Safety Conferences. His involvement with the CSA Z142, Z432, Z434 and Z460 gives John a unique insight to the language and application of these codes."

John said, "As the leader of the G.A.A.P. Program I see this 7 step process as a way to take our clients' machines from a non-compliance condition to a condition of compliance in a way that will not only raise the level of operator safety but also increase overall productivity.
