Motion Control Fairs and Seminars

Vickers-Warnick / Danaher Motion Control Fairs and Seminars held in Windsor on November 2^nd, Oakville on November 4^th, and Cambridge on November 5^th were well attended by members of the Ontario Manufacturing Community.

Attendees represented a wide variety of industries and had the opportunity to browse tabletop displays, participate in educational seminars, and network with industry colleagues, as well as the Danaher and Vickers-Warnick Motion Experts. Presentations were made by Chris Simo and Doug Pike, Motion Specialists at Danaher Motion with an introduction given by David Jones, Motion Control Manager at Vickers-Warnick.

Seminar topics included:

• Introduction to Communication Buses
• The Mechanics of Motion — An Overview of Linear Mechanical Transmission Options
• Introduction to Direct Drive Technology.

The tabletop displays featured several new products introduced by Danaher Motion — specifically:
